What Churches are Saying

Clients rely on our experience

Thomas Winter

Our needs required custom programing and training, and the VIBE team was extremely patient answering our questions as our needs evolved post installation. Team VIBE has become our expert AV partner who is always there for us and stays on budget.

Erik Pariseleti

We´re Really happy with everything VIBE did to get the system put together and I would definitely recommend VIBE to anyone else that´s looking to do a live stream system of this size or bigger.

Don Allensworth

VIBE Design brings so much to the table. They solve technology problems, brainstorm amazing new ideas, and they’re ALWAYS thinking about our stewardship and mission!

Why doesn't our Church Streaming look better?

Churches come to us trying to decide between two AV companies that each say a different model camera is better. Sometimes their existing cameras are fine, but no one has ever walked the platform with a light meter. Manufacturers don’t built equipment specific for Churches and volunteers. Most AV companies rely on Manufacturers to engineer their systems. By contrast, here is an example system that we created with engineering and programming.

The Real Problem with Your Church

Large Churches are typically successful and have developed good habits that result in growth, health, and retention. Surprisingly, many of these have to do with technology. Smaller Churches believe that they just need to know the “right” gear to buy. Music stores and AV companies lead smaller Churches to believe that money trumps knowledge. All their clients do the exact same thing and have exactly the same problems. It’s just normal and accepted.

The Solution - Technology Stewardship

Stop wasting your time comparing different cameras and mixing consoles. The quality level of AV equipment today is high. The level of AV engineering knowledge is low. The “experts” who sell your equipment are mostly just repeating manufacturer marketer talking points. Most of the value today comes from knowledge – knowing physics to put the best device in the best place/program/configure, understanding the dynamics of user training, and supporting the technology to make it easy.

How to do Technology Stewardship

Stop thinking in terms of equipment lists. This is how music stores and AV Companies trap Churches. Good sound systems with bad acoustics or good cameras with bad lighting are poor Stewardship. You are wasting money and slowing your growth.
You need a master plan that takes your requirements and provides a roadmap. That roadmap isn’t based on equipment models. It’s based on the physics, your room, and your missionary goals. Record the amount of time discussing equipment models vs volunteer capability, workflows, and environment. If you’re not spending 75% on the latter, you need a change.

What to do next?

If you keep doing the same things you have been doing, you will get the same results. Do you have band-aids on top of band-aids? Do you have technology with no labeling or documentation, so that it’s difficult or impossible to support and troubleshoot? Technology isn’t your problem. It’s the people you hire for your band-aids. Rip off that band-aid! We do our part, so you can do yours.
